Help..missing toolbar for windows live mail

I've tried everything..I can't see the toolbar in Windows live mail so i can
add read receipts, etc. The only toolbar I get is the browser one...not the
one for mail.

If you are using WLMail, it will say in the program title bar what folder
you are viewing followed by - Windows Live Mail.
If you are seeing Internet Explorer, then you are using Windows Live
Hotmail.

I'm using windows live hotmail...how do I gain access to tools so I can add

I'll save you the trip to another forum.
Hotmail does not have the ability to add 'read receipts'

The only option in Hotmail are found by signing on to Hotmail at mail.live.com or hotmail.com(both go to the same place), clicking
on Options/More Options(found in the upper right)

The Send/Receive button is called Sync

Right click on the Toolbar/click Customize then add the Sync button
